Welcome to the House of Tindalos,a web page devoted to Chaosium's Mythos Collectible Card Game. If you expected the modern House of Tindalos site, it is gone. My hosting provider changed their hosting service. It was no longer practical for me to host my site with them. The various Mythos-related databases will return sometime after I finish my master's degree. Thanks for your patience.
Chaosium has sub-licensed the rights to make a Call of Cthulhu card game to Fantasy Flight Games.
Building a Mythos deck? Not sure if it's a winner or a loser? Should the deck follow a story or triumph over your opponents? In Decks for Winning & for Fun I write about building good and bad decks.
Chaosium invited players to make their own adventures by publishing a formula for calculating an Adventure's Value and Sanity in the Mythos book The Art of Playing Mythos. In CYO Adventures are the adventures I've compiled from several sources, but mostly it's adventures I've written.
Looking for the right card to kill an opponent's deck? Trying to avoid certain defeat from Yithian Mental Contact? Read Playing Better, essays on improving your game.
Mythos isn't a perfect game. Subscribers to the Mythos mailing list made hundreds of suggestions for improvement. I've made a few of my own in Second Edition Suggestions
Artists helped make Mythos what it is. Without the beautiful or disgusting art, Mythos wouldn't be collectable.
Lovecraft's œuvre inspired many writers and artists. Visit other Mythos sites and Lovercraftian sites via my Web Links
For a time I attempted to compile an Index to the Mythos Digest, but hadn't the time to compleat it.
